Meatballs in Marinara serves over Whole Wheat Capellini

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 4 tbsp. fresh Italian flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and papper to taste

Combine all ingredients and form meatballs. Drop them in your marinara sauce and do not stir for 15 minutes (they will break up) or place them on a cookie sheet and bake in the oven on 400F for 25-30 minutes. When cooking them in the oven please note the amount of cooking time for meatball depends on the size, so check them at about 15 minutes. Serve them plain or over pasta!
